About the role:
Lead and manage the delivery of mission critical emergency management digital, communications, and technology solutions that directly support FRNSW mission critical network communications and telephony, Triple Zero call-taking, dispatch, and front-line operations. This includes the provision and integration of Emergency Services Computer-Aided Dispatch (ESCAD) systems, Fire Station Equipment (FSE) turn-out capabilities, radio technologies, and emergency management software and services. The role ensures all digital platforms, systems, and services are aligned with operational needs of emergency responders and field-based personnel.
About you:
- Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in leading large-scale ICT projects, service delivery and operational technology in an emergency services mission critical context and a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategy for executive decision making.
- Proven experience delivering digital programs within government policy, risk, procurement, and cyber-security frameworks, underpinned by a thorough understanding of NSW Government ICT, cyber security, and procurement policies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture across technical and operational functions.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and ICT contracts, ensuring strategic value, accountability, and alignment with organisational objectives.
