Composite Technician IV-2nd shift

This position is located at our Production and Test facility north of Cedar Park in Briggs, TX.

• →Perform all the steps in making aerospace grade composite parts, including but not limited to:
  • →Cut carbon using hand tools to high tolerance
  • →Perform bonding operations (abrade, clean, prep adhesives, etc)
  • →Hand lamination of various materials including (carbon, glass, Kevlar, film adhesives and foam or metallic cores)
  • →Perform full vacuum bag cure cycles from running instrumentation, debulking through monitoring oven runs
  • →Cure materials per mfg. spec
  • →Material handling pursuant to AS9100
  • →Ability to identify scarf back plies (Scarfing)
• →Support con-ops and tooling design meetings for future products
• →Improve composite operations and product designs with engineering
• →Constantly improve the fabrication operations and drive efficiency projects from the ground up

• 8+ years of composite manufacturing experience (aerospace preferred)
• Advanced expertise in layup, bonding, and cure processes
• Demonstrated ability to build flight-critical or high-complexity hardware
• Strong mechanical aptitude and meticulous craftsmanship
• Proficient with pneumatic tools, power tools, and precision measurement equipment
• Experience in AS9100 or similarly regulated environment
• Proven ability to mentor junior team members
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
