    Responsibilities

    • →

      Serve as a key safety contact for customers, contractors, and regulatory agencies on job sites.

    • →

      Conduct safety orientation and training for all new employees.

    • →

      Conduct and document inspections and incident investigations in a timely and accurate manner.

    • →

      Perform safety audits of the job site and work areas.

    • →

      Track audit findings, inspections, and corrective actions to ensure timely closure.

    • →

      Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.

    • →

      Report safety concerns, risks, and non-compliance issues to Safety Management and Operations leadership.

    • →

      Take immediate action to correct unsafe conditions or behaviors, including coaching personnel and isolating equipment when required.

    • →

      Promote a strong safety culture through accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of safety experience in the construction industry.

    • Bachelor's degree in safety or a related field, or equivalent experience and certifications preferred.

    • OSHA 30 is required. OSHA 510 is preferred.

    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, safety recordkeeping, safety software, and training databases.

    • Strong interpersonal communication and relational skills.

    • CSP or CHST certification preferred.

    • Employment is contingent upon completing a background check, drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
