About the Role

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

+3 years of relevant accounting experience. Candidates with fewer years may be considered if they demonstrate strong accounting knowledge and independent problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of debits, credits, journal entries, account classifications, and financial statement impact.
Hands-on experience with General Ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close.
Experience with Accounts Receivable, invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliations.
Understanding of accruals, prepaid expenses, depreciation, assets, and liabilities.
Ability to investigate discrepancies and determine the appropriate accounting treatment.
Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and PivotTables.
Experience using an ERP or accounting system.
Ability to work independently and meet accounting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced English proficiency for daily communication with U.S.-based stakeholders.
Availability to work from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time and attend the Guadalajara office at least once per week.

Requirements

Accounting experience in construction, manufacturing, telecommunications, or another project-based industry.
Experience supporting U.S.-based accounting operations.
Knowledge of Work in Progress accounting, revenue recognition, and U.S. GAAP.
Experience with QuickBooks Online or a similar accounting platform.
Interest in technology, automation, and process improvement.
