ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Join our After Hours team as an After Hours – Travel Manager, where you'll deliver personalised business travel management and boutique service to corporate clients. You'll be a trusted first point of contact, supporting travellers and clients while ensuring travel programmes exceed expectations. Working closely with the Team Manager, you'll combine travel expertise, customer care, and problem-solving to create exceptional travel experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced corporate travel professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver exceptional customer service aligned to brand customer value propositions.
- Manage the customer experience from quoting and booking through to queries and complaint resolution.
- Ensure enquiries are actioned within agreed SLAs.
- Meet and exceed client SLAs and key performance indicators.
- Adhere to One Best Way finance processes and procedures.
- Maintain clear, open, and honest communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attend team meetings and conferences as required.
- Follow the One Best Way sales process.
- Balance speed, quality, and accuracy while working under pressure and deadlines.
- Work towards sales targets and incentives.
- Achieve monthly SLA and incentive objectives.
- Drive customer engagement and retention through brand initiatives.
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Matric.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Corporate Travel Consultant.
- Experience using GDS (Amadeus).
- Extensive travel industry knowledge.
- Strong fares knowledge, including date changes and refunds.
- Strong client focus and customer service ethic.
- After-hours travel experience advantageous.
- Travel & Tourism tertiary qualification advantageous.
- Advanced communication, multitasking, teamwork, attention to detail, and product knowledge skills.
