During the first phase of employment, the individual would primarily shadow experienced technicians to learn existing technician responsibilities, laboratory procedures, equipment maintenance practices, and organizational processes. As proficiency increases, the individual would gradually assume technician duties under appropriate supervision.
Responsibilities

- →Assembling and building cables and mechanical prototypes
- →Soldering components onto custom PCBs
- →Organizing laboratory spaces and work areas
- →Maintaining and improving inventory tracking
- →Assisting with calibration tracking and equipment management
- →Supporting equipment evaluation, maintenance, and repair efforts
The position is full-time and will last through Dec 31, 2027. The pay is $35/hr. Opportunities to extend the contract or to convert the contractor to a salaried employee will be explored at the end of the contract.
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
