Painter

• →Work under intermittent supervision following directions
• →Mix, thin, and apply coatings; operate blast pots, paint pumps, and pressure washers
• →Set up, use, clean, maintain, and troubleshoot painting/blasting equipment
• →Use conventional and airless spray guns
• →Clean tanks and machinery spaces to gas-free standards
• →Store equipment properly and complete miscellaneous assigned tasks
• →Follow all safety, quality, and environmental policies; maintain regular attendance

• Frequently lift/carry up to 40 lbs; occasionally up to 50--55 lbs
• Perform tasks involving walking, climbing ladders/stairs, bending, reaching, and working at heights
• Operate tools such as spray guns, blasting equipment, grinders, and pressure washers
• Pull hoses/tarps, handle blasting materials, and perform daily manual labor tasks across varying elevations and conditions

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must be a U.S. Person.
• Must be able to work at heights.
• Must be able to work in confined and enclosed spaces.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

• Basic measurement/tool-reading skills (tape measure, gauges, level, square)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• 3+ years of industrial painting experience
• Shipyard experience a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
