Robotic Welder Operator

Payrate: From $20 - $23 per hour
Shift: Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm (Full-time)

Responsibilities:

• Create quality welds according to blueprints (weld symbols)
• Inspect welds for accuracy
• Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel/aluminum parts
• Perform first article inspections as well as subsequent inspections
• Record proper and accurate entry into the time and attendance system

• Education/Training in Robotic Welding
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably a fabrication environment
• Prior experience programming robots is a must
• Familiarity with welding equipment, tools, and procedures
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Knowledge of communication set up with robot peripherals
• Must have understanding of fabrication techniques via MIG and TIG with Aluminum, Stainless, and Carbon Steel products
• Good understanding of mechanical systems
• Ability to read schematics and other drawings
• A self-motivated and hands-on approach
• Ability to react quickly to changing requirements and new processing developments
• Follow written/verbal instructions and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
