Fortius is seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised Quality and GDPR Administrator to join our Quality, Safety and Patient Experience team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with healthcare administration experience who is looking to develop their career within quality, governance, patient safety and data protection. Working closely with the Head of Quality, Safety and Patient Experience, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, safe and effective services across all Fortius sites.
You will assist with the administration and coordination of quality governance activities, support data protection processes, and contribute to ensuring that Fortius continues to meet the highest regulatory and quality standards.
Responsibilities
~1 min readProvide administrative support to the Quality, Safety and Patient Experience team.
Support the management of incident reporting, investigations and complaints administration.
Assist in maintaining quality assurance systems and governance records.
Support the preparation of reports for Quality Committees and Affidea Board meetings.
Coordinate the administration and effective running of quality and governance committees and meetings.
Oversee GDPR administration and housekeeping activities.
Maintain and monitor key performance indicators relating to data protection, including:
Subject Access Requests (SARs)
Records of Processing Activities (ROPAs)
Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
Support compliance with data protection legislation and organisational procedures.
Manage and maintain corporate policies and procedural documents.
Develop and maintain document tracking systems.
Ensure policies are reviewed, updated and quality assured within agreed timescales.
Coordinate meeting schedules and maintain annual committee calendars.
Organise meeting venues and virtual meeting arrangements.
Prepare and circulate agendas, reports and supporting documentation.
Attend meetings and produce accurate minutes.
Maintain action trackers and follow up outstanding actions with stakeholders.
Support the management of patient feedback and complaints.
Liaise with patients professionally and sensitively regarding concerns and queries when required.
Provide support to wider team members as required.
Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role as requested by the Head of Quality, Safety and Patient Experience.
Previous administrative experience within a healthcare environment.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience preparing reports, minutes and meeting documentation.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Previous experience of data protection administration and GDPR processes.
Experience supporting quality, governance or patient safety functions.
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, including CQC standards.
Experience of complaints handling or incident management administration.
