Technical Delivery Manager

Intelex is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to own the roadmap, backlog, prioritization, and delivery outcomes for Infrastructure initiatives while providing broader support to the infrastructure portfolio. This role partners closely with Engineering Managers, Architects, CloudOps, SRE, DBA, DevOps, Security, and Platform Engineering teams to translate infrastructure priorities into actionable work and ensure delivery aligns with business and operational outcomes. The successful candidate will balance new initiatives, technical debt, operational improvements, platform modernization, security, reliability, and support-driven work. This is an individual contributor role with no direct people management responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Squad Product Management * Own and maintain the squad roadmap and prioritized backlog. * Define, refine, and prioritize user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria. * Partner with the Engineering Manager and technical leads to establish sprint priorities. * Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives. * Ensure work items are clear, measurable, and aligned to Infrastructure portfolio priorities. * Balance new feature work, technical debt, operational improvements, support needs, and modernization efforts. Infrastructure Portfolio Support * Support execution of the broader Infrastructure portfolio roadmap. * Translate portfolio priorities into squad-level deliverables and measurable outcomes. * Coordinate dependencies across CloudOps, SRE, DBA, DevOps, Security, and Frontline teams. * Track milestones, risks, blockers, and delivery commitments for assigned initiatives. * Contribute to quarterly and annual planning activities by providing squad-level input and visibility. Stakeholder Management * Collaborate with Infrastructure leadership to understand priorities, constraints, and expected outcomes. * Partner with technical teams to convert business needs into practical technical solutions. * Communicate progress, risks, tradeoffs, and delivery updates to stakeholders. * Facilitate prioritization discussions by balancing business objectives, impact, technical risk, operational stability, regulatory requirements, and engineering capacity. * Build alignment between delivery teams, operational teams, product stakeholders, and Infrastructure leadership. Operational Excellence * Use operational data and metrics to support prioritization and decision-making. * Support initiatives focused on reliability, availability, performance, cloud cost management, security, compliance, automation, and platform modernization. * Help improve visibility into squad work, delivery progress, dependencies, and outcomes. * Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, reduce operational friction, and strengthen delivery predictability. Product Delivery * Ensure initiatives are delivered with clear scope, expected outcomes, and acceptance criteria. * Monitor delivery progress and help remove obstacles impacting execution. * Support release planning, change management, and stakeholder communication. * Validate that delivered work meets the intended business, technical, and operational objectives. * Facilitate strategic decision-making by presenting clear options, recommendations, and associated impacts. Required Qualifications * 5+ years of Product Management, Technical Product Management, Technical Project Management, or related experience. * Experience in SaaS or cloud-native environments. * Experience working with Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps, Security, or DBA teams. * Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum delivery practices. * Experience managing backlogs and prioritizing work in Jira or similar tools. * Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and actionable requirements. * Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Preferred Qualifications * Familiarity with SQL, Oracle, AWS and/or Azure. * Understanding of observability, monitoring, incident management, and infrastructure operations. * Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Aha!, or similar tools. * Knowledge of Cloud FinOps and infrastructure cost optimization. * Experience supporting security, compliance, automation, and modernization initiatives. * Program Management Certifications Preferred (PMP, PgMP, Scrum, SAFe, or similar).
