The Corporate Security Coordinator supports daily physical security operations, including access control, alarms, surveillance systems, incident reporting, and vendor coordination. The role maintains security records and access rights, assists with physical security reviews and projects, and supports reporting, audits, guard coordination, and emergency response activities.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 7:00pm.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for service requests related to all physical security systems, including alarms, access control, and surveillance equipment. Respond to written work orders, issue and track work orders, and collaborate closely with vendors to ensure timely resolution of service issues.
  • Utilize and maintain SOC and physical security tools, including video management systems, intrusion detection systems, badge access logs, and incident tracking platforms. Program and maintain access rights for access control cards and alarm systems, including decommissioning access cards and key fobs.
  • Perform daily reviews of physical security systems and system-generated reports, including surveillance, alarm, and access control systems. Identify issues and coordinate vendor support as needed.
  • Assist with physical security reviews and risk and vulnerability inspections, including documenting findings and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Support incident and accident reporting, investigations, and insurance claim coordination. Maintain the incident/accident reporting security database and document and escalate security incidents, suspicious activities, and physical threats according to established protocols.
  • Prepare monthly security reports and maintain accurate records and documentation to support security operations, audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Stay current on developments in physical security technology, systems, and industry practices, and identify potential opportunities for improvement.
  • Respond to emergencies during regular working hours. After-hours support may be required on a case-by-case basis.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Criminology or related is preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience working with physical security systems to include, service and maintenance across a broad spectrum of access control, intrusion and video surveillance systems.
  • 1 year of experience inspecting access control and video surveillance systems.
  • Background in criminal justice or law enforcement is preferred.
  • Certifications:  ASIS Associate Protection Professional and Physical Security Professional or equivalent is preferred but not required. 
  • Computer Skills: MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Security Surveillance Systems.

The estimated salary for this role is $26.35 - $30.96 per hour.
