About the Role

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is seeking an General Maintenance Engineer to support the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of resort facilities, equipment, and guest areas. This role plays a vital behind-the-scenes part in delivering a seamless luxury experience by responding to maintenance requests, performing repairs, and ensuring all building systems operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with strong technical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs
→
Handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building
→
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
→
Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner

3 months to 1 year of experience in Engineering and/or General Maintenance.
Working knowledge of general building maintenance systems, equipment, and repair practices.
Technical knowledge acquired through on-the-job training, trade school, vocational programs, or professional certifications.
Ability to use computers and smartphones for work orders and maintenance tracking system.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
