About the Role

As a Laundry Attendant, you will play an important role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, quality, and presentation throughout the hotel. You will be responsible for supporting laundry operations, managing linen flow, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring all hotel linens are handled with care and accuracy. Working as part of the Housekeeping team, you will help create a seamless guest experience by ensuring clean and well-maintained linens are always available.

Responsibilities

→Receive, count, and verify clean linen deliveries from external laundry providers
→Sort, count, and prepare soiled linen for collection and processing
→Store clean linen in designated areas and replenish floor pantries as needed
→Maintain adequate stock levels of all hotel linen to support daily operations
→Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures
→Monitor chemicals and follow safe handling practices at all times
→Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, chutes, carts, and equipment
→Report linen damage, inventory discrepancies, or misuse of hotel linen
→Identify equipment malfunctions and communicate maintenance needs promptly
→Maintain accurate production and inventory records
→Assist with monthly linen inventory counts
→Follow all fire, health, safety, and emergency procedures
→Handle any lost & found items discovered during laundry operations according to hotel policies

Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping environment is an advantage
Knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals, and laundry processes
Understanding of workplace safety procedures and chemical handling
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to perform physical tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented mindset
Positive attitude and commitment to quality standards

Full-time position.
Expected schedule includes mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekend shifts.
