Instrument Tech - OL III Instrument Maintenance

      I.    POSITION OBJECTIVE  The purpose of the Instrument Technician is to ensure the efficient operation of process instrumentation.    II.    MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY  Troubleshoot and repair all conventional instrumentation including DCS and Analyzers. Complete daily paperwork as required. Partipate in On call duty Complete daily route check of assigned area. Calibration of all conventional instrumentation, Analyzers & DCS. Adhere to all company policies and procedures including but not limited to, ISO, personnel, quality, environmental, health, safety, regulatory and company requirements. Work outside normal shift hours and work on call as needed. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Comply with NTG (Nothing Touching the Ground) requirements. Including daily audits. Be active in Operation Clean Sweep and ensure employees are aware of and accountable for prevention of pellet loss, containment, cleanup and disposal. Perform other duties as assigned.   III.    QUALIFICATIONS Education High School diploma or equivalent Valid Driver’s License Associate degree in Instrumentation or Electronics or Two (2) years’ experience (PLC, Analyzer & DCS experience preferred) Previous Related Experience Required  2 years of experience (PLC, Analyzer & DCS experience preferred) and a high school diploma or equivalent; Or associate degree in Instrumentation or Electronics or related fields.  Technical Skills Required to Perform This Job  Problem-solving mindset Safety Certification or safety classes a plus but not required. Troubleshooting the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently Preventive maintenance knowledge Good communication skills Accountability and reliability Self-motivated, curious and eager to learn Complete Daily Route Check of assigned areas
