Marketing & Data Analyst I POSITION OBJECTIVE As part of the Polyolefins Staff Team, this role supports the Polyolefins Business Division by driving data-driven initiatives and strategic analysis. The Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for architecting and maintaining robust ETL pipelines, designing scalable data models, and delivering high-impact BI solutions. This role will leverage databases and source information to analyze trends and identify performance gaps through specialized visualizations. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY Acquires and compiles structured and unstructured data and verifies its quality, accuracy, and reasonableness. Develop data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes and maintain application integrations across multiple data sources. Analyze datasets to develop metrics, dashboards, and trend reports using data visualization tools. Maintain clear documentation of data processes, workflows, and system configurations, Share best practices and learnings with the broader team to foster continuous improvement. Work closely with cross-functional teams. Act as a proactive thought partner, translating complex business needs into actionable system solutions. Engage in both rapid-turnaround and hoc analyses and long-term strategic projects. Provide actionable insights and clear reporting to support decision-making. Prepare monthly/quarterly P&L and other divisional performance reports for top management and leadership in Taiwan. Develop internal and external sales and marketing reports, including sales and profit performance analyses, marketing strategy evaluations, and long-term strategic planning. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS 1~3 years of relevant experience in related fields; experience within the petrochemical industry is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics or related field. Master’s degree in related field is a plus. Technical Skills Required to Perform This Job Advanced proficiency in data manipulation, scripting, and statistical analysis. Proven expertise in developing ETL pipelines, process automation, and high-impact data visualizations using Power BI or Tableau. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy, usability, and integrity. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to understand their data needs, address concerns and provide insight. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams to optimize ERP systems, data reporting, and UI/UX interfaces. Identify and define complex problems, gather relevant data, establish key facts, and derive valid, actionable conclusions. Excellent English communication skills are required. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to support cross-regional business reporting in Taiwan.
