Our technology connects stakeholders across the specialty pharmacy ecosystem, helping prescriptions reach the right pharmacy while improving visibility, reducing friction, and keeping treatment moving forward for the patients who depend on them. We focus on the most important stakeholder of all: the patient.

As a Referral Support Specialist, you'll play a critical role in managing specialty medication referrals from initial routing through onboarding and resolution. You'll serve as a trusted resource for internal teams and external partners while helping ensure a seamless patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • →Monitor and manage referrals throughout the lifecycle to support timely onboarding and continuity of care
  • →Research and validate referral information, provider details, and pharmacy assignment requirements
  • →Handle inbound and outbound communications with providers and other stakeholders
  • →Investigate and resolve referral issues, exceptions, and escalations
  • →Reassign referrals when needed and communicate changes to appropriate parties
  • →Monitor issue tracking systems and ensure timely follow-up and resolution
  • →Document findings, request additional information, and maintain accurate records
  • →Identify opportunities to improve referral workflows, routing logic, and operational processes
  • →Partner with cross-functional teams to support quality, efficiency, and service excellence
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in referral coordination, specialty pharmacy, healthcare operations, or a related healthcare environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable navigating multiple systems and applications in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

  • College degree preferred
  • Experience working in specialty pharmacy, healthcare services, or pharmacy operations
  • Experience with issue tracking platforms such as Jira
  • Familiarity with referral management workflows and healthcare systems
