The ROI coordinator position will be responsible for the daily operation of ROI Specialist team members. The ROI Coordinator will be the front-line people leader and knowledge expert focusing on the team’s daily processing of releases in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. The ROI Coordinator will oversee the employee work assignments, requests pending and daily request completion. This position will contribute and assist the ROI Manager in training and development of staff as well as ensure all processes are completed to safeguard the privacy of the patient by protecting the patient’s PHI in performance of daily duties. The ROI Coordinator will provide routine service to customers regarding release of information requests and can periodically attend meetings and/or training to keep abreast of industry and regulatory changes affecting the scope of release of information.

Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience within the Release of Information Management strongly preferred

Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience required

Detailed oriented and able to work independently and with limited supervision

Continuous ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks assigned

Knowledge of HIPAA and State regulations
