About the Role
~1 min readFNS, Inc. is seeking a proactive and highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruiting activities across our U.S. operations.
The primary focus of this position is to identify, screen, and engage qualified candidates for open positions, including positions that may require Korean-English bilingual candidates.
This is a hands-on recruiting role for someone who enjoys actively searching for candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting initial candidate screenings, and building qualified talent pipelines rather than waiting for applicants to come in.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager, Regional HR, and hiring managers to understand hiring priorities and provide qualified candidates in a timely manner.
The successful candidate should be organized, responsive, comfortable managing multiple open positions, and able to quickly understand different departments, organizational structures, and job requirements.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Proactively source qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, Greenhouse database, professional networks, employee referrals, recruiting platforms, and other sourcing channels.
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for priority, recurring, and difficult-to-fill positions.
- Conduct targeted outreach to passive candidates rather than relying solely on incoming applications.
- Build and maintain candidate networks across various business functions and geographic markets, including Korean-English bilingual talent when needed.
- Research new sourcing channels and recruiting methods to expand candidate pools.
- Support sourcing for corporate, logistics, warehouse, transportation, operations, and other business functions.
Requirements
~2 min read- Review incoming applications and resumes in Greenhouse on a timely basis.
- Screen candidates based on job requirements, relevant experience, language ability when applicable, location, compensation expectations, and overall fit.
- Conduct initial phone or video screenings when needed to evaluate candidate qualifications and interest.
- Prepare clear and concise candidate summaries for Regional HR and hiring managers.
- Identify qualified candidates and move them forward to Regional HR or the appropriate hiring team for further evaluation.
- Maintain timely follow-up with candidates throughout the initial recruiting process.
- 1–3 years of recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or candidate sourcing experience.
- Hands-on experience reviewing resumes and identifying qualified candidates.
- Demonstrated experience proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, databases, referrals, or other recruiting channels.
- Strong interest in candidate sourcing and recruiting as a primary job responsibility.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to quickly understand different positions, departments, organizational structures, and candidate requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requisitions and candidate pipelines simultaneously.
- Strong follow-up skills and sense of urgency.
- Ability to communicate professionally with candidates, Regional HR, hiring managers, and business leaders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced recruiting environment where hiring priorities may change.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate candidate records.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Korean-English bilingual skills preferred.
- Experience using Greenhouse ATS.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or other direct sourcing tools.
- Experience sourcing or recruiting Korean-English bilingual candidates.
- Experience recruiting for logistics, transportation, warehouse, supply chain, operations, or corporate functions.
- Experience supporting recruiting across multiple locations.
- Experience sourcing passive candidates for difficult-to-fill positions.
- Familiarity with recruiting agencies, job boards, and recruiting vendor relationships.
- Experience using recruiting metrics or candidate pipeline reports.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools or recruiting technology to improve sourcing and recruiting productivity.
The base salary range for this role is between $75,000–$95,000 yearly, and your base salary will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
- Manage multiple open requisitions based on recruiting priorities established by the Talent Acquisition Manager and business needs.
- Maintain active sourcing efforts for urgent and difficult-to-fill positions until qualified candidate pipelines are established.
- Monitor candidate pipelines and identify positions requiring additional sourcing efforts.
- Communicate recruiting progress, candidate availability, and sourcing challenges to the Talent Acquisition Manager and Regional HR.
- Support recruiting activities across multiple U.S. locations.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate information in Greenhouse.
- Update candidate stages, screening notes, disposition reasons, and recruiting activities consistently.
- Monitor new applications and ensure candidates are reviewed and processed in a timely manner.
- Utilize Greenhouse to identify previous applicants and existing candidates who may be qualified for current openings.
- Support recruiting reports and candidate pipeline tracking.
- Follow established recruiting workflows and identify opportunities to improve Greenhouse usage and recruiting efficiency.
- Partner with Regional HR to understand local hiring needs, candidate requirements, and recruiting priorities.
- Provide qualified candidate pipelines to Regional HR for further interview and selection.
- Coordinate directly with hiring managers when needed for urgent or specialized recruiting needs.
- Assist with interview coordination, candidate communication, and recruiting follow-up when necessary.
- Provide Regional HR and hiring managers with market feedback regarding candidate availability and sourcing challenges.
- Utilize recruiting tools and platforms effectively to maximize candidate sourcing.
- Support coordination with recruiting agencies, job boards, and other recruiting vendors when necessary.
- Assist with tracking job posting expenses, agency fees, recruiting platform costs, and other recruiting-related expenses.
- Maintain organized records of recruiting vendors, sourcing channels, and related recruiting activities.
- Help evaluate which recruiting channels and sourcing methods are producing qualified candidates.
- Identify opportunities to improve resume screening, candidate sourcing, communication, and recruiting workflows.
- Recommend new recruiting tools, sourcing methods, and candidate outreach strategies.
- Utilize technology, automation, and AI-enabled productivity tools where appropriate to improve sourcing, candidate research, communication, and recruiting efficiency.
- Maintain candidate confidentiality and appropriate data privacy practices when using recruiting technology and tools.
