Fullscript is looking for a Marketing Automation Manager to support our Labs business on a fixed-term basis (12+ months). In this role, you’ll own the development, execution, and optimization of lifecycle marketing programs that help practitioners and patients stay engaged across key touchpoints.
This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role for someone who knows how to turn lifecycle strategy into high-performing campaigns. You’ll work primarily in Iterable, building and optimizing journeys across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels. You’ll also partner closely with Marketing, Labs stakeholders, Data Engineering, and cross-functional teams to scope campaign needs, define data and eventing requirements, and improve how we communicate with customers.
The Labs environment moves quickly, so this role is best suited to someone who brings confidence, curiosity, strong judgment, and a bias for ownership. We’re looking for someone who can challenge assumptions, use data to make practical decisions, and improve existing programs before issues become bigger problems.
- Own end-to-end lifecycle marketing execution for Labs, including nurture journeys, drip campaigns, webinar campaigns, lifecycle product updates, and multi-channel engagement programs.
- Build, deploy, QA, and optimize omni-channel journeys in Iterable across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
- Use segmentation, personalization, dynamic content, and handlebar logic to make sure users receive timely, relevant, and accurate communications.
- Own and evolve A/B testing, personalization, and optimization roadmaps focused on improving engagement, conversion rates, and customer lifecycle outcomes.
- Analyze campaign performance, interpret data, and translate insights into clear recommendations that improve campaign effectiveness.
- Scope data events, fields, and campaign requirements in Iterable, partnering with Data Engineering and other stakeholders to make sure the right data is available and usable.
- Partner with Labs and Marketing stakeholders to map campaign cadences, identify gaps, challenge assumptions, and recommend better approaches to channel mix, timing, and customer experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, CRM, or marketing operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Iterable or a closely related marketing automation platform such as Klaviyo, Marketo, or HubSpot.
- Proven experience building and optimizing lifecycle journeys, nurture campaigns, drip campaigns, webinar campaigns, and multi-channel communications.
- Experience owning A/B testing roadmaps, personalization strategies, segmentation, and data-based optimization to improve conversion rates and engagement.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret campaign performance and turn findings into practical next steps.
- Strong logic and problem-solving skills, especially in campaign architecture, audience targeting, personalization, QA, and troubleshooting.
- Confidence operating as a senior IC in a fast-moving environment, with the ability to own work, communicate tradeoffs, and stand behind well-reasoned recommendations.
- Experience partnering with Data Engineering, Product, Marketing, or other cross-functional teams to define campaign data needs, eventing requirements, or customer journey logic.
- Experience working in healthcare, labs, practitioner, patient, or regulated customer journeys.
- Previous people leadership experience with a preference to return to a hands-on senior IC role.
- Familiarity with AI or automation tooling such as n8n, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools.
- Salary range: $ to $ CAD
- Remote-first flexibility to work where you work best, with Ottawa, Toronto, or Calgary preferred for this role.
- Flexible PTO and competitive pay, because work-life balance matters
- RRSP/401k match and stock options to invest in your future
- Premium benefits package with customizable coverage, paramedical services, and an HSA.
- Fullscript discounts to save on high-quality wellness products
- Continuous learning opportunities to grow your skills and career
