About the Role. G2 Ops supports mission-critical defense and technology initiatives by solving complex operational and engineering challenges. We are seeking a motivated, collaborative Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the PMW 770 program and cybersecurity activities for cloud-based and classified information systems.

In this role, you’ll contribute to information assurance, cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) efforts while working alongside a team that values innovation, technical excellence, and continuous growth.

What You’ll Do

• Support all aspects of program Information Assurance (IA) and cybersecurity processes for cloud-based and classified information systems.
• Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities required to achieve and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals.
• Prepare, review, and maintain cybersecurity process artifacts and traceability documentation supporting security compliance requirements.
• Evaluate security solutions and system configurations to verify compliance with security requirements for processing classified information.
• Support the implementation, assessment, and maintenance of applicable security controls.
• Monitor and help maintain the operational security posture of assigned information systems and programs.
• Apply applicable DoD cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidance throughout system authorization and operational activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, test and evaluation, Security Control Assessor, program, and customer stakeholders to resolve security issues and maintain authorization requirements.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or managerial-related discipline and 2+ years of experience in a security-related field; a high school diploma or equivalent may be accepted with four additional years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and/or prior experience with the Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).
• Experience supporting cybersecurity, Information Assurance, engineering, Test & Evaluation (T&E), Security Control Assessor (SCA), Certification & Accreditation (C&A), and/or Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities.
• Familiarity with security policies and guidance used to prepare and maintain documentation supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
• Ability to evaluate security solutions and maintain the operational security posture of an information system or program.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• IAT/IAM Level I certification, such as Security+.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance at start and ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD or government programs.
• Experience supporting cloud-based systems in classified or mission-critical environments.
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity requirements and authorization processes.
• Experience working in cross-functional or customer-facing environments.

Compensation & Benefits. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000-$135,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
