Technical Skills:
- Experience with Slurm, TORQUE/Moab, GPFS, Lustre, MPI, or containerized scientific environments.
- Experience with genomics, next‑generation sequencing, or bioinformatics pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud/HPC hybrid architectures (AWS preferred).
- Experience supporting scientific computing in federal environments.

Job Description:

This position is contingent upon contract award, expected to start in January 2027.
Work visa sponsorship will NOT be provided for this position.

Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field.
Year’s Experience: 10–12+ years of experience in HPC engineering, scientific computing, bioinformatics platforms, or advanced research infrastructure.
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise with Linux environments, HPC schedulers, parallel computing, GPUs, and large‑scale storage systems.
- Experience optimizing scientific workloads and supporting research computing users.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to scientists, engineers, and program stakeholders.
Location: HYBRID - Employee must be willing to report onsite in College Park, MD (primary office) or Gaithersburg, MD several days a week.
