The likely salary range for this position is $70,658 - $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40Job Description:
The Triage Specialist supports a federal agency by receiving, reviewing, and directing incident reports to the appropriate point of contact. The Triage Specialist works as part of a small team of federal and contract staff to ensure inbox coverage 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays.
- Monitor a shared incident response inbox in collaboration with other team members to ensure timely response and incident elevation.
- Analyze each incoming incident in accordance with federal policies to ensure incidents are documented correctly and routed to the appropriate point of contact.
- Provide technical assistance in situations where incident reports need to be corrected and/or resubmitted in accordance with policy.
- Create shift reports and complete other activities necessary to prepare team members to take over inbox coverage.
- Catalog and file incidents in keeping with policies and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a tracking system for reported incidents and perform quality assurance to ensure data accuracy.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends in incident reporting.
- Provide reports on inbox activity on regular and as-needed bases.
- Other duties as assigned.
