Responsibilities

Develop production-quality web applications and backend services that enhance Genesys Cloud Workforce Management experiences
→
Build responsive web user interfaces using modern JavaScript and TypeScript technologies with a focus on usability, quality, and maintainability

Implement cloud-based functionality using AWS services to support scalable and reliable applications
→
Deliver product enhancements and bug fixes while contributing unit tests and automation that strengthen software quality
→
Collaborate with developers through peer reviews, agile development practices, and technical problem solving
→
Contribute across the software development lifecycle while building practical experience in frontend, backend, testing, and cloud development
→
Apply modern engineering tools and practices to improve code quality, development efficiency, and production readiness

Requirements

Currently enrolled in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline
Knowledge of developing responsive, single-page web applications using modern JavaScript libraries or frameworks
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, or comparable web development technologies
Knowledge of AWS technologies or fundamental cloud computing concepts
Understanding of software development fundamentals, including testing, debugging, or version control
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others
Interest in contributing within an agile software development environment and learning from experienced engineers

Exposure to frontend technologies and tools such as HTML5, CSS3, LESS, TypeScript, Knockout, Vue.js, Mocha, Chai, or Webpack
Familiarity with backend development using Java, Clojure, or similar programming languages
Exposure to AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, or SQS
Familiarity with software development and delivery tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or Jenkins
