Requirements

Master’s degree from accredited university in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, Education, or related field
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) with the Washington Department of Health
Minimum 1 years’ experience working as a BCBA. Minimum 3 years' experience providing ABA services
Experience conducting skill and behavioral assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, FBA, etc.)
Expertise in development of skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
Completion of the 8-hour supervision training required by the BACB
Experience supervising BCaBAs and/or Behavior Technicians (CBT/RBT) required.
One year of experience working with insurance companies and treatment planning preferred
Experience working with older individuals (high school through adult) preferred
Experience working with severe challenging behaviors preferred
CPI (therapeutic hold) training certification preferred

Must be able to keep students safe from themselves and others and, in some cases, may need to implement CPI (therapeutic holds) procedures.
Must be able to remove oneself from potentially harmful situations and, in some cases, be able to lift a child.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the workday
Ability to lift (at least 50-65 pounds), assist, and/or physically support students, which may include lifting or guiding students of varying sizes
Ability to physically intervene when required to ensure safety (per CPI training)
Ability to remove oneself and/or others from unsafe situations quickly
Ability to maintain attention and focus in a dynamic, high-stimulation environment
Ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly
Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making, particularly in high-pressure or safety-sensitive situations
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain professional relationships
Ability to perform duties under stress, including during behavioral escalations

Location: Onsite at our school located in Issaquah, WA (must be open to helping at Bellevue, WA school if needed)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-3:45p
Occasional before- and after-school work hours at the discretion of the administrative staff.
