Lead Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) activities across project and service sites, helping teams work safely and meet applicable requirements.

Responsibilities

→Develop and implement project EHS plans, procedures and emergency response arrangements.
→Advise project teams, customers, consortium partners and contractors on EHS requirements and safe work practices.
→Conduct site inspections, identify unsafe conditions and follow through on corrective actions. Intervene when work presents an immediate safety risk.
→Identify training needs and coordinate EHS inductions, toolbox talks and other training for employees and contractors.
→Support risk assessments and permit-to-work processes in accordance with site procedures.
→Monitor EHS performance, maintain records and report issues and improvement actions to project and site management.
→Participate in EHS audits and reviews, and help address gaps between company, customer and contractor requirements.
→Coordinate EHS activities across contractors and project teams, including work at multiple sites when required.

Requirements

Relevant experience managing EHS activities in project, construction, field service or other site-based operations.
Working knowledge of Singapore workplace safety and health requirements, risk assessments and site safety procedures.
Ability to engage effectively with customers, contractors and employees at different levels.
Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to respond calmly and make sound decisions during safety incidents.
Ability to travel between project or service sites as required.

WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or relevant WSH qualification.
Experience with EHS management systems, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Strong planning, reporting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to influence others and promote a positive safety culture.
