Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Architectural Governance: Develop and standardize reference architectures for power generation, data centers, microgrids, and hybrid plants.
- →Technical Integration: Lead the integration of "inside-the-fence-line" assets (Gas Turbines, BESS, STATCOMs, substations, and electrical gear).
- →Requirements Management: Define system baselines, interface definitions, and validation strategies (FAT/SAT).
- →Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with internal business units (Grid, Gas Power, Digital) and external stakeholders to drive technical alignment.
- →Performance Validation: Review power system studies (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash) to ensure design integrity.
- →Mentorship: Provide technical leadership to engineering teams, advancing systems engineering best practices across the organization.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power Systems, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
- 12–15+ years of experience in power generation, EPC projects, or transmission & distribution infrastructure.
- Deep knowledge of “inside-the-fenceline” equipment and industry standards (IEEE, ANSI, IEC, NERC, NFPA).
- Proven success in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex technical interfaces.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence executive leadership and regulatory stakeholders.
- Ability to travel up to 25\%.
- Advanced degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- Expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and requirements management tools.
- Experience with PLC/SCADA systems, IEC 61850 architectures, and grid code compliance.
- Deep understanding of lifecycle asset management and reliability engineering.
