Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.

The Head of Accounting & Finance will oversee all accounting functions, financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls for a our client, a growing manufacturing company in Gwinnett County.

This role partners closely with operations and executive leadership to drive profitability, improve processes, and ensure financial accuracy.

Responsibilities

→Lead and manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, AR/AP, payroll, and fixed assets
→Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
→Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
→Manage cost accounting functions, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation
→Partner with operations to analyze production costs, margins, and efficiency metrics
→Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models
→Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulations
→Coordinate audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors
→Drive process improvements and ERP system optimization
→Supervise and mentor accounting staff

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
