GHJ Search & Staffing is working with a fast-growing, consumer-focused company headquartered in Los Angeles who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its collaborative and high-performing finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a visible role with strong ownership, cross-functional exposure, and meaningful impact in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of public accounting and corporate accounting experience, thrives in a hands-on setting, and enjoys digging into the details while also improving processes.

Own key components of the month-end and year-end close process

Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

Perform flux and variance analysis across P&L and balance sheet accounts

Support financial reporting and assist with management reporting packages

Partner cross-functionally with Operations, FP&A, and external auditors

Assist with process improvements, documentation, and internal controls

Support audit and ad hoc projects as needed

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

4+ years of progressive accounting experience

Public accounting strongly preferred

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, inventory, or multi-entity environments is a plus

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)

CPA or CPA-track preferred

High-visibility position within a lean, collaborative team

Strong ownership and autonomy

Exposure to leadership and strategic initiatives
