Responsibilities

  • →Works in conjunction with Sales and due Diligence to determine appropriate funds to offer to ML clients
  • →Develops appropriate legal structure and operational process for each product
  • →Assists in determining pricing structures
  • →Negotiates business and operating terms with fund managers
  • →Coordinates launching and oversight of private equity funds
  • →Coordinates investment and business due diligence efforts
  • →Ensures proper internal and external legal review
  • →Coordinates internal review processes
  • →Creates contractual agreements and business proposals
  • →Analyzes private equity offering documents to determine business, legal and headline risk
  • →Maintains comprehensive knowledge of all private equity fund structures, terms and other industry trends

Specific responsibilities for the management of existing products and external fund relationship efforts will include but not be limited to:

  • →Coordinates appropriate actions to address developing matters with existing funds
  • →Drafts formal communications for financial advisors and clients
  • →Ongoing maintenance of platform collateral
  • →Integration of offerings across the Bank of America platform 

Requirements

  • 8+ years of general financial industry experience
  • Knowledge of financial market required, a lean toward private markets preferred
  • Demonstrated capability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • SIE, Series 7, 63/65 or Series 66 or must be willing to obtain within 120 days of start date

  • Bachelor’s degree (concentrated in Finance or Business MBA preferred)
  • Strong alternative experience, within private equity origination or deal sourcing

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$116,000.00 - $225,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
