Customer Development Supervisor (Curaçao & Aruba)
Who We Are
GomezLee Marketing is a leading Trade Marketing and field execution company across Central America and the Caribbean. With over 30 years of experience, we operate in more than 12 countries, managing regional merchandising, supervision, and field leadership teams. We're known for our operational excellence, our use of technology and data to drive decision-making, and for developing talent that directly impacts our clients' growth.
In today's dynamic retail environment, it's an exciting time to join a Customer Development team operating across the Dutch Caribbean. We're looking for a hands-on, highly autonomous professional to be the on-the-ground presence of a leading global consumer brand in Curaçao and Aruba.
This is not a traditional sales role. You'll act as the brand's direct representative in markets served through a regional distributor model — auditing execution, ensuring brand strategy and pricing standards are followed at the point of sale, and building a strong, lasting relationship with the local distributor. Think of yourself as the eyes, ears, and voice of the brand in a market where the day-to-day operation runs through a trusted local partner.
What you'll do
- Audit and ensure brand presence, pricing, and execution standards are consistently met across points of sale in Curaçao and Aruba
- Build and maintain a direct, long-term relationship with the local distributor team
- Travel regularly between both islands (75-80% field-based role — a vehicle is required)
- Gather market intelligence: sales trends, competitive activity, and point-of-sale dynamics
- Report findings and recommendations clearly to the regional Customer Development team
- Operate independently, managing your own schedule and priorities with minimal day-to-day supervision
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of commercial experience — sales, trade marketing, or related fields (consumer goods or beverages industry preferred, but not required)
- Proven ability to work autonomously and stay self-motivated without close oversight
- Strong relationship-building skills, especially with distributors or channel partners
- Working knowledge of finance, logistics, and commercial fundamentals
- Curiosity about data analytics and how technology can improve commercial decision-making
- Comfortable presenting results and insights professionally
- Functional English required
- Based in or willing to relocate to Curaçao, with flexibility to travel to Aruba
What makes someone successful here
You're someone who thrives with autonomy, you don't need constant check-ins to stay focused and deliver. You build relationships that last, you bring a positive, proactive energy to your work, and you take pride in representing a brand with professionalism, even when you're the only person on the ground. You're comfortable being the face of the company in market, every day.
