Requirements
~1 min read- Typically requires HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.

- Manual dexterity to perform tasks associated with assembly and calibration.
- Previous experience reading, understanding and working off blueprints.

Mechanical Assembler I is an entry level position. The purpose for an operator at this level is to gain a basic understanding of deburring and air grinding operations. Operators must obtain a basic level knowledge in order to deburr and clean parts in a manner necessary to produce precision parts with direct supervision by a more senior Mechanical Assembler with Deburring Certification (level II or above). Follows established standard work under general supervision in efforts to obtain certification within 120 days. The operator will typically refer problems or deviations to more experiences operators including Lead Technicians, Supervisors, or engineers.
Responsibilities

- →Learn how to read blueprints in order to verify work was completed properly.
- →Accurately complete production documentation and performs necessary labor transactions.
- →Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions as set by your leader and position.
- →Actively participates in the Continuous Improvement process as well as safety related activities
- →Works under immediate supervision. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.
- →Develops basic job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
- →Tasks are routine/ repetitive in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making.
- →Operates hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment.
- →Over 40 hours is required as scheduled to meet business needs.
- →All other duties as assigned including working extended shifts/overtime as required by the business.

- →Some Holiday hours may be required based on business need
