Facilities Maintenance Technician

• Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in Technical Facilities and a HS Diploma or GED or AA/AS degree (or another 2 year post HS training) and 4 or more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 4+ years’ experience in (three or more) of the following areas:
  • HVAC and Building Automation Controls
  • Maintenance of pumps, motors, valve and actuator operation
  • Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
  • Refrigeration cycles
• 2+ years’ experience reading and interpreting blueprints and complex schematics as well as OSHA regulations and standards for Safe work practice, hazard assessment and mitigation.
• Experience with Team and cross-functional relationship building.

• Computer experience in the function and application of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as well as common office technology including MS office suite of software and other Web based tools.
• Experience in Electrical, VFD's and motor controls and team members
• PLC controls troubleshooting
• OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
• Microsoft Office experience

• →Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all infrastructure systems with the primary focus on HVAC, also includes but not limited to chilled water distribution, pumps, motors, and frontend building automation controls.
• →Perform as a first shift facilities mechanic supporting site operations.
• →Work with a computerized maintenance management system
• →Self-manage and prioritize work requests
• →Execute work in a timely and safe manner
• →Provide coverage and support for the facility days/nights/weekends if business, schedule, or emergency situations arise.

• →How to manage facilities operations in 400,000 square feet of building, office, lab and warehouse space; gain technical experience working alongside senior mechanics and contractors and learn to troubleshoot large infrastructure equipment and controls.
