Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or Finance
  • Experience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • MRP, SAP PRISM experience preferred.
  • Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Experience working across multiple business areas and interfacing at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience coordinating with various disciplines.
  • Experience with analysis, prioritizing, and working under pressure.

Raytheon Missiles & Defense Andover has an opening for a Principal Specialist Materials Planning in our Materials Planning and Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) team.  

The successful candidate has working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems in a manufacturing environment and utilizes data-driven decision making to enable effective planning and execution, as well as leadership experience.  They will manage a team of intermediate or experienced leads, and be responsible for executing day-to-day material availability requirements, as well as creating and improving processes.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
