- A University Degree and 12 years of relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and 10 years relevant experience. Relevant experience with mechanical systems hardware, validation and verification activities including testing, analysis, and certification, engineering team mentorship and development, project processes and technical reviews, and cross-functional engineering and program coordination.
- Strategic, proactive, and continuous-improvement-focused approach to engineering leadership.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries.
- Experience driving engineering process improvements, technical best practices, or discipline capability development.
- Ability to manage multiple technical priorities in a dynamic engineering environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high technical standards while supporting team development and program objectives.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to MSEN engineering team members, supporting professional development and strengthening technical capabilities.
- →Review and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and technical rigor of discipline deliverables while maintaining compliance with engineering standards and program requirements.
- →Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the MSEN discipline by identifying opportunities, implementing best practices, and advancing engineering processes and technical capabilities.
- →Support and provide technical oversight for validation and verification of MSEN hardware, including test, analysis, and certification-related activities.
- →Coordinate across engineering and program organizations to maintain high technical standards, support program execution, and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- →Gain broader technical leadership experience across Mechanical Systems, Externals & Nacelles disciplines.
- →Develop advanced skills in mentoring, engineering quality assurance, and technical capability development.
- →Gain exposure to hardware validation, verification, testing, analysis, and certification-related activities.
- →Strengthen knowledge of Pratt & Whitney project execution processes, technical reviews, and cross-functional coordination.
- →Develop strategic leadership and continuous improvement skills within a global aerospace engineering organization.
