Requirements
~1 min read- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working in an environment governed by AS9100 Quality Management System
- Detail oriented with good communication and recordkeeping skills
- Product inspection experience or technical background is preferred
- SAP knowledge and experience
Collins Aerospace is excited to welcome a talented Quality Inspector III. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for ensuring quality product is delivered to our valued aerospace customers by performing conformity inspections and coordinating non-conforming product dispositions within the compliance of AS9100.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Use predetermined methods, operations, setups, prescribed specifications to inspect arriving, in process, and completed products for conformance to engineering requirements and in accordance with quality specifications.
- →Use a variety of measuring devices, testing equipment, computer systems, and statistical control processes to perform in process, final bench and product feature inspections and inspection tasks.
- →Inspects actual products on the floor and on-line.
- →Performs First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections.
- →Raises notifications of non-conformance, quarantines non-conforming product and, when approved to do so, provides disposition.
- →Oversight and inspection of parts, materials and processes.
