Requirements
~1 min read- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience applying analytical and problem‑solving techniques to translate data into actionable insights and measurable results.
- Experience driving process improvement and automation using tools such as Advanced Excel, VBA, Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency with SAP or comparable ERP/MRP systems for inventory, order, and material management.
- Prior people leadership experience, including building team structure, setting expectations, and developing talent.
- Experience providing customer‑facing communication and stakeholder management support.
- Experience managing supplier, 3PL, or external repair vendor relationships.
- Working knowledge of inventory control best practices, including cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and material traceability.
- Experience in leading CI events and the use of CI tools and Lean methodology; Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations and/or the aerospace industry.
- Experience in an MRO environment is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of agency (ex. FAA, EASA) regulations for aircraft maintenance and certification is highly preferred.

We are seeking a Sr. Supervisor, Production Control to join our team in Santa Fe Springs, CA! The Sr. Supervisor, Production Control will lead a team of Associates responsible for enabling the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) business. This role drives material availability, customer communication, allocation management, and vendor coordination to ensure on-time delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader who applies analytics and continuous improvement principles to eliminate waste, automate manual processes, and build a high-performing, accountable team.
Responsibilities

- →Ensures material readiness and piece part availability to support production schedules, minimize shop floor downtime, and reduce turnaround time (TAT).
- →Serves as a key customer liaison, proactively communicating unit availability, pickup readiness, and order status to drive customer satisfaction.
- →Manages customer allocations and shipping manifests, ensuring accuracy, contract compliance, and on-time delivery (OTD) performance.
- →Collaborates cross-functionally with Demand Planning and Production to communicate component requirements, mitigate shortages, and support Non-product purchasing.
- →Manages external repair vendor relationships, monitoring unit status, driving on-time returns, and escalating risks to prevent delivery impacts.
- →Owns the cycle count program to maintain inventory accuracy, perform root cause analysis on discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- →Oversees customer furnished material (CFM) and Collins furnished inventory to ensure proper control, traceability, and financial accountability.
- →Develops and maintains KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting to provide visibility into inventory health, customer delivery, vendor performance, and team productivity.
- →Identifies opportunities to streamline and automate manual processes, leveraging digital tools and data analytics to improve efficiency and scalability.
- →Leads and participates in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives using Lean methodologies, standard work, and structured problem-solving.
- →Ensures compliance with quality, regulatory, and customer contract requirements across all material and shipping activities.
- →Plans and maintains appropriate staffing levels, cross-training, and succession coverage within the area of responsibility.
- →Ensures and actively supports employees' career development through coaching, goal-setting, and regular feedback.
- →Manages team performance by addressing issues promptly, providing actionable feedback, and resolving conflicts to maintain operational effectiveness.
- →Promotes a strong safety culture and ensures the workplace is safe and free of significant hazards.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
- →Travels up to 10%.
