Warehouse and Distribution Operative

  Understanding of the use of MRP computer systems

• →

  Physical inventory accounting & reporting through Cycle Counting

• →

  Management of excess stock physically and on MRP system in line with accounts procedures. Maintain MRP system stock accuracy.

• →

  Issue of parts and material to a works & Sales order(s) using the appropriate procedure.

• →

  Visual Inspection, Counting and checking of incoming materials and components.

• →

  General administration and filing

• →

  Supporting the Business in the implementation of Continuous Improvement and Health and safety initiatives

• →

  Receive cartons and pallets into the dispatch area from several other areas of the business. Check and record paperwork and information received with cartons.

• →

  Cross reference information received against database to determine method of shipment.

• Experience working in a Warehouse and Distribution role is essential

• Basic computer skills

• Stock checks and cycle counting experience

• Accuracy and an eye for detail

• Great team player with a can-do attitude

• Previous use of MRP Computer systems

• Forklift experience would be an advantage
