- Position Summary:
  - Under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), the licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides safe, efficient patient care to assigned patients. Performs as a positive member of the healthcare team
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
  - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing/licensed practical nursing program
- Minimum Experience
  - Hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred
- Required Registration/License/Certification
  - Current Kansas LPN licensure
  - Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider), or successful completion within the first 90 days of employment.
  - Intravenous (IV) certification
