What you'll get to do...
- Coordinate all aspects of indirect tax compliance (Sales Tax/GST/VAT) for entities both domestic and abroad. Handle filings, registrations, and returns while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Perform reconciliations and validations across tax reports, General Ledger, and tax accounts, including funding approvals and year‑end reporting requirements
- Lead and support monthly tax close activities, including coordinating tax accounts, preparing reconciliations, and ensuring completeness and accuracy of tax data
- Support tax audits, notices, and regulatory queries by preparing documentation, responding to authorities, and collaborating with internal and external partners
- Provide technical support and issue resolution, including handling complex tax queries independently and conducting research on taxability matters
- Improve process and compliance controls, including supporting SOX requirements and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and special projects across indirect tax processes
- 4+ years of experience in indirect tax, with a solid understanding of compliance, reporting, and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise several tasks optimally
- Experience working with internal teams and external consultants/advisors
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel), capable of working autonomously and adhering to deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams while showing ownership, flexibility, and an organized method to tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- OneSource, Vertex, Alteryx and Workday experience is a plus
