Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled 3D Associate Technical Designer to support WM Kids apparel programs, with a focus on 3D pattern corrections across multiple categories. This role partners closely with the Technical Design team, as well as overseas offices and factory-based 3D teams, to ensure accurate execution of pattern corrections throughout all fit stages.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Collaborate closely with the Technical Design team to measure, adjust, and execute required e-pattern corrections across all fit stages prior to production
- →Apply Technical Design feedback to update 3D assets, ensuring corrections are accurately reflected in patterns, graded nests, and visual renders
- →Own and manage the workflow, prioritization, and deadlines for all 3D submissions in alignment with WM Kids production calendars
- →Partner with overseas offices and factory-based 3D teams to ensure clear communication and timely execution of updates
- →Confirm that revised 3D assets support physical sample feasibility and meet brand and retailer specifications
- →Ensure all 3D renders, measurements, and graded nests remain accurate, current, and production-ready
- →Maintain organized documentation and version control for all 3D pattern updates and submissions

Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Technical Design, Patternmaking, Fashion Design, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in 3D technical design, patternmaking, or related apparel development roles
- Strong understanding of patternmaking, pattern corrections, grading, and fit across children’s apparel categories
- Hands-on experience working with 3D pattern software and digital e-patterns
- Familiarity with mass-market production calendars and retailer-specific requirements (WM experience a plus)
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Technical Design teams and overseas partners
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
4 days a week in the office, Fridays' work from home
New York Pay Rate $50,000 - $65,000
