Accounting Manager

Location: San Jose, CA
Salary: $120,000 to $140,000 annually

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in San Jose. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing key accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, month-end close, and account reconciliations.

The Accounting Manager will supervise a team of three and work closely with the Controller and other departments to ensure accurate and timely accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and identify opportunities for process improvement.

  Lead and support the Accounts Receivable and Billing team.

  Oversee customer billing, collections, and Accounts Receivable.

  Provide oversight of Accounts Payable activities.

• →

  Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

• →

  Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules.

  Monitor AR aging and help improve collections and DSO.

• →

  Serve as a key internal resource for NetSuite ERP.

  Support Rental Series accounting and billing processes.

• →

  Develop and improve accounting procedures, workflows, and internal controls.

  Partner with Sales, Rental, Service, and Operations to resolve accounting and billing issues.

  Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, reporting, and special projects.

  Provide backup support to the Controller as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

• At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.

• Strong hands-on NetSuite experience.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, month-end close, reconciliations, AR, AP, and general ledger accounting.

• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Rental Series experience.

• Experience working with equipment sales, rental, or service operations.

• CPA or CMA designation.
