Material Tech - Impregnation

As an Impreg Helper, you will be working with multiple types of resin systems and composite materials. You will be learning the job of an impreg technician doing a variety of different tasks such as resin infusion, chamber assembly, vacuum checks, leak checks, demolding, loading parts into ovens, completely transactions in the system and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• →Perform the resin infusion process.
• →Assemble chambers.
• →Perform vacuum leak checks.
• →Read and monitor vacuum gages.
• →Use of temperature probe/infrared temperature guns.
• →Use of overhead crane.
• →Operate ice blasting machine.
• →Load oven.
• →Remove parts and resin from chambers.
• →Perform necessary preventative maintenance on equipment.
• →Sweep and mop as needed.
• →Maintain 5S standards.
• →Clean and replace temporary floor as needed.
• →Follow all work procedures for the area.
• →Comply with all safety and company policies.

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and speak English

• Must be able to lift 45lbs.
• Must be able to wear all required PPE.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in both hot and cold conditions.
• Must be able to work around different types of resins and composite materials.
• Must be able to work around chemicals and solvents such as acetone, releasing agents and various cleaning supplies.
