Part/time Dining & Catering Events

Location: Durham, NC

Grace Federal Solutions, LLC is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Event Food Service Associates to support special dining and catering events. This flexible, event-based opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to earn extra income while working in a professional and team-oriented environment.

As an Event Food Service Associate, you will play an important role in creating a positive dining experience by assisting with event setup, food service, and cleanup. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service will help ensure each event runs smoothly and efficiently.

• →Set up dining areas and place settings prior to the start of each event.
• →Keep food stations stocked, organized, and presentable throughout meal service.
• →Assist with serving guests and supporting food service operations as needed.
• →Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• →Help with event breakdown, cleanup, and restoring the venue after service.
• →Work collaboratively with event staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
• →Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
• →Perform other event support duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service, catering, hospitality, or event experience is a plus, but not required.
• Reliable transportation, punctual, and able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to remain professional while providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate physical work, including lifting and carrying event supplies.

To maintain a professional appearance and comply with food safety standards, all contractors must adhere to the following dress code:

• Dark or black pants (no tears or holes)
• Black or white collared shirt (no logos or graphics)
• Black, slip-resistant shoes
• No jewelry except a wedding band
• No facial jewelry, including nose, eyebrow, or lip piercings (individuals not meeting this requirement may be sent home)
• Aprons and hairnets will be provided when required
• Nail extensions are not permitted while on duty
