Granite Telecommunications is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics activities. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, tracking, and distributing telecommunications equipment and materials to support customer installations and internal operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains accuracy, and is committed to safety and quality standards.

 

This role is designed as an agile position whose day to day responsibilities will vary based on business needs.  The expected tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Accurately stock and organize telecommunications equipment, hardware, and materials within the warehouse.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to field technicians, customer sites, and company locations.
  • Conduct inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments using warehouse management and shipping systems.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred).
  • Maintain proper inventory documentation and update inventory records in company systems.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Project Management, and Field Operations teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Package sensitive telecommunications equipment according to established handling and shipping procedures.
  • Assist with returns, RMAs, defective equipment processing, and asset recovery activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
  • Identify inventory discrepancies and escalate issues to warehouse leadership.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience.
  • Experience using inventory management, ERP, or warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Experience in telecommunications, technology, or electronics warehousing environments.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
  • Familiarity with barcode scanning systems and inventory tracking tools.
  • Experience supporting field service or installation organizations.
  • Knowledge of shipping carriers, freight coordination, and logistics processes.
