Finance Officer

Supports in the day-to-day financial operations including invoicing, reconciliations, journal postings, as well as the management of fixed assets, inventory and payables.

• →Vendor & Invoice Management: Assist with vendor management processes, including reviewing vendor creation requests, posting supplier invoices, and reconciling vendor statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• →Bank & Payment Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations, reconcile PSP transactions, post bank payments, and assist with the preparation and processing of payment transactions.
• →Fixed Assets & Journal Entries: Create and maintain fixed asset records, and prepare/post journal entries.
• →Invoice Issuance & Intercompany Transactions: Prepare and issue invoices, including intercompany invoices.
• →Management Accounts & Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of management accounts through accruals and prepayment workings, trial balance reviews, and various financial analyses and reconciliations.
• →Financial & Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and maintain various reports, including electronic payment reports, cash position reports, marine insurance submissions, inventory statistics, and monthly/quarterly VAT recaps.
• →Petty Cash Management: Manage petty cash operations.
• →Stock & Inventory Management: Provide support during stock takes and assist with inventory reporting and analysis, including the preparation of inventory statistics reports.

• Higher Diploma in Accounting (Level 5)
• In process of pursuing ACCA qualification
