- Participate in month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
- Assist in performing financial analysis to support decision making on profitability and resource allocation.
- Support in analyzing monthly sales/expenditures for senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional commercial stakeholders and other finance functions to for month-end closing, forecasting and other budgeting exercises.
- Support in projects and initiatives lead by finance for continuous process improvement and efficiency.
- Obtain high level overview of working in commercial finance department of a multinational organization.
- Obtain initial knowledge on data analysis and data driven decision-making.
- Learn about different systems and processes used in finance department of a large multinational organization.
- Obtain high level understanding of financial reporting, forecasting and Operating Expenditure management.
- Develop skills such as communication, problem solving and collaborative working.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently as well as part of a culturally diverse team.
- Attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proactive, self-motivated and displaying initiative in solving problems
- Deadline-driven, flexible with self-reliance to work in an empowered environment.
- Proactive in seeking to improve processes making them more effective and efficient
