Operations Technician

Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Perform shift production activities during the day shift to meet safety, quality and output targets.
- Perform set-up, changeovers and handovers while ensuring correct procedures and documentation are followed.
- Coach and mentor junior technicians and operators through on-the-job training and feedback.
- Carry out routine equipment inspections, basic maintenance and preventative tasks using hand tools and work with engineers for complex fixes.
- Support investigations into operational issues, gather evidence, and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Suggest and lead small improvement projects that increase efficiency, reduce waste or improve quality.
- Take ownership for safe and compliant operations across your area each day.
- Ensure batch records, logbooks and other documents are accurate and meet good documentation practice.
- Run effective shift handovers and team briefings to keep work coordinated and transparent.
- Work closely with engineering, quality and materials colleagues to resolve issues and maintain supply.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure work areas meet site safety and cleanliness standards.
- Help lead readiness activities for campaigns, trials or new process transfers as required.
