Job Description: We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Construction Equipment Technician to maintain, repair, and inspect our fleet of heavy construction machinery. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the success of our construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks on construction equipment, such as changing fluids, filters, and lubricating parts. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using specialized diagnostic tools and techniques. Conduct thorough inspections to ensure equipment complies with safety regulations and operational standards. Repair or replace faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work. Respond to emergency repair requests and perform repairs on-site as needed. Work collaboratively with other technicians and supervisors to address complex issues and enhance equipment performance. Requirements Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or an associate degree in diesel mechanics, automotive technology, or a related field preferred. Experience: Proven experience as a construction equipment technician or in a similar role. Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
