Commercial Director

Develop and implement a robust leasing strategy for revenue generation from commercial properties and malls in line with the overall strategic objectives Maintain oversight of the leasing activities to ensure the respective properties/malls have the optimal occupancy for enhanced revenue generation Oversee the management of mall operations including retail leasing terms, tenancy occupancy rates against targets etc. whilst ensuring customer/tenant satisfaction at all times Participate in negotiations with tenants to secure favourable terms for issuance, renewals and termination of tenancy contracts Work with the Mall Manager to plan mall layout and floor space and implement suitable strategies for creating, attracting and increasing footfall to the commercial properties and mall centres Provide maintenance resources to assist WUJHA in handover and initial management of the completed units until they are ready to be taken over by the Owners’ Association Maintain oversight of the facilities management of the commercial properties and mall centres to ensure all areas are clean, visually appealing and in working order whilst ensuring QHSE guidelines are adhered to at all times Work closely with the CMC teams and Finance department to ensure any collections/outstanding monies are recovered in a timely and efficient manner Explore and pursue opportunities for cost and resource optimisation and continuous improvement Participate in the Investment Committee to support evaluation of investment opportunities and business decision making Oversee preparation and management of documentation and prepare management reports (periodic or adhoc) as required Set and agree individual goals for all direct reports and evaluate individual performance, providing regular feedback and coaching in line with good people management practices Requirements 15-18 years of experience with at least 5-6 years managerial experience. Experience with leading leasing team as well as working in commercial sector Vast network of international brands Experience leasing 2000+ sqm of properties Arabic nationality preferred
