Pay (Contract Full Time):

HK$58,922 to HK$88,971 (HGPS point 24-33) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Pay (Temporary Full Time):

HK$55,060 per month

1.

Supervise a team of technical staff, consultants and contractors in planning and executing of works as well as managing the facilities of hospitals/institutions.

2.

Provide technical support and check standard of design, materials and workmanship against user and contract requirements, and other recognized standards on works assigned.

3.

Assist in budgetary planning and expenditure monitoring of minor works projects, smaller value minor works projects, and Day-to-Day maintenance works.

4.

Liaise with end-user and work agents, including Electrical & Mechanical Services Trading Fund and Term Contractor, and other parties on all matters relating to user requirements, access, disturbance, program, cost, etc., for efficient execution of works on site.

5.

Monitor progress of works and conduct routine site inspections, particularly on aspects of statutory compliance, safety, environmental, and OSH related issues.

6.

Provide emergency on-call service and work outside office hours in case of emergencies and when required.

7.

Any other duties as required including job rotation to other posts within and outside the Cluster.

1.

A Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies or Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from a Hong Kong Polytechnic / Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Hong Kong Technical College / Hong Kong Technical Institute / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent.

2.

8 years of relevant experience.

3.

Obtained valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card).

1.

With relevant work experience in managing hospital / healthcare facilities / public works projects.

2.

At least 4 years of working experience in the capacity of Assistant Building Services Inspector / Assistant Clerk of Works, or equivalent.

3.

(a) Grade E or above in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in HKCEE. OR

(b) Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSE.

4.

Formal training in occupational safety and health.

5.

Knowledge of other common office automation (e.g. e-mail, Internet/Intranet, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, AutoCAD, BIM and other MS Office applications, etc.)

6.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

7.

Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently under minimal supervision.

8.

Outgoing and able to work under pressure and stressful situation.

The service of Queen Elizabeth Hospital will be relocated to the Kai Tak Hospital in phases starting from year 2026.
